How long have you been working at Somas?
I have been working at Somas since 2015.
How did you come to work here?
I was told by friends and acquaintances that it was a good place to work, and they were right!
What is a “typical” working day like for you?
Washing and hanging up the components to be painted, maintaining the machines we use and ordering various materials/parts as required, as well as placing painted objects in the warehouse.
What’s the best thing about your job?
AThe work involves a high degree of freedom, and I get to work at my own pace and without stress. It’s great!
What’s the biggest challenge with your job?
Managing to get a nice, smooth finish on all the different components included in a valve/actuator.
Is there anything in particular you have done or been involved in at Somas that stands out even more?
Having the opportunity to work with the robot here in the paint shop is fun. We have amassed plenty of knowledge about how to use it, and everything we paint is now much more attractive!
What do you like doing in your spare time?
I enjoy going to concerts, cooking and watching all the games played by Gais and Leksand. I also watch a lot of TV series and like petting my cat.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to work in your industry?
Always wear a protective mask!
